Union of L&SI associates entrepreneurial organizations and interest
groups established by entrepreneurs and organizations in the field of
leather and shoe industry in the Slovak Republic. A member of the Union
of L&SI may be organizations of common relations and interests with
leather and shoe industry. The membership in the Union is voluntary.
Entering the Union the members do not lose their legal subjectivity
To perform this commission the Union of L&SI particularly:
- defends the interests of Slovak leather and shoe industry in
dialogue with authorities, governmental bodies and with the trade
unions.
- supports its members activities by means of a broad information
offer and co-ordinates its members approach to problem solutions.
- organise access to the information and its processing.
- acts as a professional advisory body in the field of special
problem solutions.
- defends and preserves the employers interests within the
three-party negotiations with the state administration central
bodies and the trade union in the questions resulting from the field
of economical and social policy.
